What I built
- 01The home page with feature showcases and live upcoming events
- 02Carbon Accounting, ESG Reporting and Sustainability Projects pages
- 03A blog with article pages, a white-paper download and sharing
- 04A password-gated page for publishing posts
- 05An SEO overhaul: metadata, sitemap, generated OG images, redirects and accessibility fixes
Key decisions
- 01
Sign-in through SSO, with a state check
The site starts the SSO flow with a state value it checks on return, so a forged callback can't sign someone in.
- 02
Redirect old links instead of losing them
The old site's indexed URLs map to the new pages, keeping search traffic through the relaunch.
01
The problem
The company needed a site that explains the product and its services, ranks in search and routes visitors into the apps.
02
The process
I built the home and service pages as feature modules with motion and smooth scrolling, then a blog with a password-gated publishing page. A later pass covered SEO, web vitals and accessibility, plus redirects for old indexed links.
03
The outcome
Live at thecircularnet.com, showing upcoming events from the API and handing signed-in users over to the web app.
04
What I learned
Server-side secrets behave differently on every host. The blog admin needed specific handling for the hosting platform's server rendering.
